Hello!!!!!! YAY it's Friday and I'm hoping that this weekend is better than last weekend and that we have some sun... more of it!!! So today I'm here to share with you a journaling out of the box and I had lots of fun doing this with the very new release image from Sandra Caldwell.  You can find them here . I made a video of the process and you can find it here: I used a cereal box cardboard for the backing of this and it's a bigger journaling card. I used some fabulous die cuts that were sent to me from Diane.  I also added some lace from my stash.  The image was colored with my copics and fussy cut.  The sentiment was handwritten and then cut out but I found the sentiment online and thought it was PERFECT for this. Owl see what's up

Hello!  It's Friday.  It was a short week but boy oh boy was it a busy one and I'm exhausted.  What about you?  Did you celebrate at the beginning of the week?  Are you as tired now?!? lol I need a vacation from the small vacation. So are you ready for the new released images from Sandra?  She always ROCKS them!!!  And I'm in love with the one that I used which is Owl see what's up.  You can find the new release images here . Since this is an owl I decided to use it to embellish the blackout poetry book that I'm making for my dad and his spouse.  You can see the process in the following video: And here is what it looks like in the book.  The sentiment was found on the web. The image was colored with my copics and then fussy cut out. The background was made using some light blue paint and then I added some clouds using a new (used) stencil that I got :) Here is a closer look at the super cute image. I'm entering this in the following challenges:

Hello!  I'm late!!!  I was busy on the Canada day weekend.  I had fun going away for the weekend in Quebec city :)  Yeah haven't been there forever! So today I'm sharing finally what I made with the fabulous digi that was a freebie at The East Wind . The new digi was perfect for a Christmas card!!! And here it is I used some papers that I had left from fabulous paper packs.  I used a spellbinder die to cut out the sentiment from Create with TLC and the backing.  The oval was also cut out with spellbinder die.  I used my copics to color this image.  I used some bling that was from recollection. Wooohooo it's Friday!!!  And this means a new release over at Sandra Caldwell etsy store . I was super excited about this one because well I love dogs lol. My start this time around was to find a sentiment that would go with him.  And since I wasn't having a particularly good day at the time I thought the sentiment that I found in a google search was just PERFECT. Since this is a journaling out of the box (journaling on a card) I have done a video of the process that you can see here: I really recycled here.  The background is actually a pizza liner that you use to cook your pizza.  The little circles were found objects. The cute image was colored with my copics. I'm entering this journaling card in the following challenges: Crafting by designs  - Animals Crafty sentiments  - add a sentiment Cutie pie challenge  - All creatures great and small 2craftycrittercrazies - Use a critter Delicious doodles challenge2  - all creatures great and small That&#
