Image
It's time for a new challenge over at  More mixed media challenge  and this time it's about PINK.  I have to say that I really loved making this little postcard. The image that I used is from Faery Ink and you can purchase that image here . I made a little video of my process that you can see in this video: If you want this little postcard you can purchase it in my Etsy store here . And here is my make. I used many texture on this, a backing from a napkin, a pattern for making clothes.  I added some ribbon.  For the sentiment I used some letter stamps that I had to make the words.  I played with my stars stencil from Artploration , (I joined the monthly club... and it's just FAB so if you don't know that do check it out).  The image was colored with my copics. I hope this inspires you :) I'm entering this little postcard in the following challenges: Open-minded crafting fun  - I did the pastel because Easter is long past Simon says stamp blog

Scribbles Challenge - Midway point - A little note to BUG you

Image
Wow time sure goes by FAST!!!  It's already May 1st and that means the midway point of the challenge going on over at  Scribbles designs challenge .  And this month it was all about bugs!  Fairly easy when you think bumble bees, butterflies, ladybug, etc are all eligible. For my midway post I decided to do a little journaling out of the box you can see my series on those on my Youtube channel.  This one however was not taped.  The little playing cards that I use to make those are 3x3 inches. The image that I used this time is  Heart Tulips .  I colored this with my tri tone coloring pencils.  I fussy cut the image and seperated the little bumble bee because the image was not going to fit here otherwise. The background was all made with some left over paints and some leftover stamping (I use some of my little cards to clean out my stamps and it was perfect for this background).  I used my liquitex medium to glue this on and the sentiment is from a magazine cut out.  T

Image
Hello everyone!  It's time for a new challenge over at  Delicious Doodles Challenge  and this time it's a super easy one so you should all be participating!!!  It's all about flowers. For my make I used the fabulous image  Daffodils  to make a SUPER fast little postcard.  I have shared the making of it on my youtube channel you can see the video here. And here is the final postcard.  I used a cereal box as the base.  Then I used some napkin that I had received in a swap to cover it up.  Did 2 layers of that.  I thought the black would be the perfect background for this yellow image. The sentiment is from a magazine cut out.  The image was colored with my copics and then I fussy cut it out. I'm entering this little postcard in the following challenges: Patties creations challenge  - Easter or springtime - I'm doing springtime.  To me daffodils are one of the must have spring flowers :) Qkr stampede  - april showers bring May flowers - y
