Mother's day card

Image
Hello everyone!  It's been awhile since I last posted here!  I've been away to Greece.  It was a wonderful trip with my hubby.  And of course that meant no posting and I didn't schedule anything either.  1st time in forever that I took a break from blogging or youtubing.  It was nice and I got my head filled with ideas and looking forward to making them. I have made some mother's day cards today thinking that when I return to work this week there might be some requests.  The one that I'm about to share with you used a handmade embellishment that I made today.  I also made 2 sets (one yellow and one pink) to put in my etsy store.  You can find them here  and here . And here is the mother's day card that I made.  I used an image from Nicecrane to make this.  It's a precolored image. I used my Quickutz die for this.  I used some seam binding that I distressed.   The paper is from Blush by My mind's eye. I'm entering this little car

Hey everyone!  I'm here to share with you my little make for the challenge going on over at FB RSD and friends .  This time it's about stiches (real or false).  In my case I did false!!! The image that I used is the fab  Jolly Rodger  to make a little postcard for my little nephew :)  The base for this was a cereal box .  I really do love using cereal box as my base.  And I'm happy to report that the postcard made it and my nephew was really happy. I used copics to color the image and many stencils and paint to make this.  The sentiment is from a magazine.  I decided to use a little dollar bill from a game because well pirates love their gold right?!? :) I'm entering this little postcard in the following challenge: Inky impressions challenges  - all about boys Robyns fetish challenge blog  - use a sentiment We love 2 create  - Anything goes mixed media Crafty time challenges  - for the kids Doodle pantry blog  - Anything goes That's it for me for

Ajna - TEW new release

Image
Hello everyone!!!  Hope you are having a fabulous week.  This Friday it's really busy on my blog especially since I decided to play with the latest release from The East Wind Ajna which you can find in the Etsy store . I was wondering how to showcase this gorgeous image!  And then I thought that I could put her on one of the background that I had colored in my Secret garden coloring book.  I don't want to just color those pages... I need to make it more so it's a journal in progress! For this I used a sentiment stamp set from Unity stamps that I thought would go perfect with her.  The colored page was done with my polychromos pencils.  The image however was colored with copics.  I really don't dare attempt doing skin coloring with pencils. Here's the closer version at the gorgeous image. I hope this will encourage you to play with your digis in different way like this one :) I'm entering this little coloring page in the following challenge

The East wind Challenge - 3d challenge

Image
Oh man... it's time for a new challenge over at  The east wind  but it's about 3d and that is always so difficult for me...   I really had to think long and hard about what I could make. And then I look through my stuff and saw a little clock that I had meant to alter some time ago.  That was the starting point!  And I used the great image  Faith Lettering You can see what it looked like and the process of making this in the little video here: And if you don't want to see the entire process here is the final view!!!  I used some different stamps to decorate this.  But the lettering was put really big because that's what I wanted as the focus!  We need to have more faith.  That little altered clock is now in my kitchen to make us remember. I really can't wait to see what you guys create!!!  I'm sure that it will inspire me in the future!!! I'm entering this little clock in the following challenges: Wordart wednesday  - anything goes Path of
