Happy birthday card!

Image
OMG it's been FOREVER since I have posted here.  I had such great intention at the beginning of the year and then well that never happened.  It's been quite a year as you would know if you follow me on Youtube. But it's not the same to actually post a story here. Anyway I needed to make a b-day card and the image from the East Wind was just PERFECT for this!  You can find her here .  I don't color much with my copics anymore.  Some of my markers are clogging up.... sad really.  I have been doing so much more mix media. The paper that I used is probably discontinued before  but it was Kaiser Craft Lush.  You might still be able to find some on E-bay.  That's the best to find the stuff that you can't get your hands upon.  That or maybe some destashing.  I think this was the 1st time that I used that paper pack!  How bad is that?!?  I know I used to do so many more cards than I do now.  Now I mostly do videos about using your scraps!  Something that we have l

Hello!  It's Friday!  I'm so happy.  It's been a hard week!  I haven't been feeling well... and yeah really need a weekend.  But to start it off I have the best thing EVER a new release image from Sandra Caldwell that you can find here . I also did something that I don't usually do... which is to tape the video of my making one of my typical Christmas cards :)  Hope you enjoy that video: and here is my card.  The paper is from American Craft and I think it was from the target dollar spot. I added some ribbon and just had fun coloring this guy with my copics. I'm not sure if I will be entering challenges or not... So that's it for me!  Have a fabulous day and weekend!!!! Hugs

Anyway today there's a new challenge starting over at the East Wind blog and it's about bumps :)  more specifically embossing. For my make I used the fabulous Aurora Sugar Moon .  I think this image is just soooo pretty and would be totally perfect for a birthday card.  There are many birthdays coming up in my friends/family. It feels strange to make cards now so funny.  That's all I used to do!  How things change. The paper that I used is from GCD Studios - Nostalgia.  I used a cuttlebug embossing folder and my label 18 from Spellbinder to cut it out.  And of course finished this with some bling.  The image was colored with my copics.  The sentiment comes from Create with TLC I'm entering this in the following challenges: Crafting-with-dragonflies  - Let's go floral Dis digi designs challenge  - Add a

Hello everyone!  I'm here this month with all masculine makes!!!  I know right?!? (yeah same start from last post lol) but it's true!!! It's rare that I did Art by Mi Ran male pieces!!! This is my very last post on the showcase !  I am leaving Art by Mi Ran.  Sad but at the same time I thought it was time.  Not sure that my stuff is up to all the fab work I see on here :)  I'm feeling that I'm totally fortunate to have been able to be here from the beginning and have been with this totally AMAZING group of artists!!!  And the most fabulous of them all is Mi Ran!  So sweet and generous with her time and advice.  LOVE HER and totally will be continuing to follow her and make stuff with her art. Anyway enough before I start crying here.... My last make is a playful one for my little nephew's b-day that is coming up.  I thought that   Jammin Jayden  would be perfect for him. I used a lot of left over papers that I had in my stash.
